Job Title: Resource Manager
Location: Remote (Coverage for EST & PST required)
Role Overview
As the Resource Manager for Koantek's Premium Consulting, you will be the central hub
matching elite Databricks talent spread across diverse geographies with complex project
requirements. Your goal is to optimize consultant deployment by evaluating skillsets and
availability to drive practice success and maintain high utilization at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Allocation: Analyze Databricks job roles and propose qualified consultants by
comparing technical competencies and availability.
Relationship Management: Actively build and serve as the primary point of contact for
Databricks counterparts and internal technical teams to help move all initiatives forward.
Utilization & Planning: Monitor and maintain peak utilization rates across the practice to
ensure operational efficiency.
Data Integrity: Manage all resource allocations, project updates, and consultant profiles within
Salesforce, and other company tools ensuring data is always kept up to date.
Executive Reporting: Generate and present data-driven reports for Koantek leadership and
Databricks to guide strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate hand-in-hand with Finance, Recruitment, and Delivery
teams to streamline operations.
Communication: Provide responsive support for time-sensitive client and internal queries
across both Eastern and Pacific time zones.
Nice-to-Have
Prior Experience: Previous work in Resource Management (RM) or Business Operations
Tooling Expertise: Experience with Salesforce and/or any specialized Resource Management
(RM) tools.
Technical Background: Familiarity with the Databricks ecosystem or similar data engineering
platforms.
