SUMMARY:
The Resident Services Coordinator will be primarily responsible for responding to and directing resident needs. This position will act as the first contact in the leasing office and in our commitment to excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Resident Services Coordinator's duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Event plan, attend, and execute resident functions and events.
• Coordinate building operations and system between recreation, retail, and office staff.
• Oversee services to residents and prospective residents to help achieve our customer service goals.
• Ability to field multiple phone lines and work under pressure.
• Ensure residents are knowledgeable regarding community's services, operating procedures and issues/events.
• Responds to inquiries and requests from prospective residents.
• Respond to inquiries and requests from current residents.
• Coordinate resident service issues with appropriate community staff such as maintenance, leasing, and amenity scheduling.
• Provide ongoing backup support to the following: lease units, tour prospects, and assist in general leasing office operation.
• Serve as a concierge to residents.
• Network with neighboring businesses in order to maximize marketing opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• One (1) years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent of education and experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• To perform this job successfully, the individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Publishing Software. Previous experience with Property Management software including Yardi and Onsite a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Must be able to lift and/ or move up to 15 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, lift, push, pull, bend, squat and reach. Regularly required to use standard office equipment including computer, telephone, fax machine, scanner, and do filing.
COMMUNICATIONS:
• Must be able to effectively communicate (orally and written) in a respectful, professional manner on a regular basis with prospective residents, current residents, staff, management and co-workers within the company as well as with outside vendors. Must be able to work as part of a team. Follows instructions and responds to management's direction. Takes constructive criticism and uses it as a learning tool. English proficiency is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus. Must be able to adapt communication to be understood by the audience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY:
• Is reliable and consistently at work and on time; willing to travel, and work evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.
TRAVEL
• Travel may be required within the Southern California Region and Arizona.
