As a Resident Assistant, you'll provide compassionate support to residents while helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
You'll build meaningful relationships with residents and become an important part of their daily routine and overall well-being.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities including:
    • Dressing
    • Grooming
    • Bathing
    • Personal hygiene
    • Toileting
    • Mobility and exercise support.
  • Help residents during meals and provide assistance with eating when needed.
  • Observe residents and report any changes in health or behavior.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and resident records.
  • Assist with medication support under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
  • Monitor and record vital signs as assigned.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
  • Make beds, tidy resident rooms, and support housekeeping efforts.
  • Assist with specimen collection when required.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training programs.
  • Follow all safety procedures, infection control practices, and resident care standards.

No prior caregiving experience required. Training will be provided.

Physical Requirements: This active role requires the ability to:
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shift.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Push or pull equipment and assist residents safely.
  • Hear alarms and resident calls for assistance.
  • Observe residents and surroundings to ensure safety.
