Job description

Royal Atrium Inn, Assisted Living, a Providence Life Services Community, located in Zeeland, MI is seeking Resident Aide, Full Time from 6:00AM - 2:30PM. Pay Scale: $16.05 - $19.35/hour and pay is based on relevant experience from resume. Resumes submitted must have up to date work history. This is not a summer or temporary position. We are seeking permanent employees.
Schedule and Hours: 6:00AM - 2:30PM. Must be available to work every other weekend.
The primary role for this positionwill work closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to our residents in accordance with their needs. Typical activities that you will assist our residents with include, but are not limited to, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to reminding of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documentation of your work. No previous experience is necessary, although it is rewarded, as we will train you for the position and in the skills, you will need!
Summary of essential job functions:
  • Applicants must be patient, caring & respectful.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
  • Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.

  • Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
  • Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprinting for criminal background check and complete a reference check.
