Job description

Under the guidance of the Call Center Manager the Reservations Coordinator will provide support to the Reservations, Revenue Management and Sales departments. Candidates will have excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills, Strong computer proficiency, knowledge of Word and Excel, attention to detail and the ability to resolve customer issues.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Answer all phone calls promptly and assist guests in making, altering, or canceling reservations
  • Be knowledgeable of hotels and resorts including but not limited to room types, resort operations, outlets, policies, and amenities
  • Have a complete knowledge of current rates, special rates and packages and know which benefits are included in each
  • Accurately record and secure all required information from the guest when making a reservation, including any requests or comments
  • Understand and follow reservation policy pertaining to guarantees, cancellations and no-shows and communicate them clearly to each guest
  • Assist with inputting electronic reservations including but not limited to third party such as internet and wholesale and rooming lists
  • Perform daily office duties and any other projects as assigned
  • Entering all group rooming lists and providing completed lists and information to management when requested, as well as managing any modifications to these lists
  • Miscellaneous tasks including assisting in group VIP changes or special requests and the ability to run group reports on demand
  • Entering LNR, long term stay requests, and any special reservation requests including taking phone calls
  • Responsible for completing the data entry of STAR reporting if requested
  • Manage owner inventory and room requests as needed
  • Responsible for managing the FIT Inbox including but not limited to inputting wholesale reservations
  • Responsible for managing the Group Inventory Inbox including but not limited to inputting rooming lists and special request reservations
  • Responsible for supporting the Sales and Revenue Manager in running tasks, producing reports, researching no -shows etc. as instructed

Qualifications
  • Hotel experience, preferably Front Desk or Reservations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
