Description

We're seeking an experienced Laboratory Director to lead our IVF laboratory operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role oversees the full range of complex laboratory procedures supporting infertility treatment and reproductive technologies, and plays a key part in shaping the quality and direction of our lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of IVF laboratory operations, ensuring optimal performance and full compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate professional and support laboratory staff to maintain a high standard of care
  • Develop and manage quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and quality improvement (QI) programs, including data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in ongoing research, including oocyte cryopreservation, oocyte maturation, and preimplantation genetic testing
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to organization-wide performance improvement and help foster a culture of excellence in patient care
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in laboratory science required; PhD strongly preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a human IVF laboratory setting
  • Certification as a High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) required
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a laboratory environment
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
