Job description

Description:The Asset Control Technician is responsible for processing repossessed collateral in accordance with client guidelines from post repossession to collateral release from our custody.

Qualifications:


  • Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented

  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Commitment to excellent customer service

  • Overtime work may be required throughout the year

  • Shifts and/or schedules may change throughout the year as dictated by management and business needs

  • Preferred proficiency in current technology

  • Able to problem solve and determine solutions to issues as they arise

  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions

  • Must be able to stand/walk for 75% of the workday

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs

  • Preferred experience operating a Forklift

  • Preferred knowledge of vehicles

Job Duties for Asset Control Technician:


  • Process repossessed collateral including a full set of photos, personal property list and condition report within required timeframe set by the client

  • Removal of personal items from collateral prior to transport

  • Log/store personal items in property room

  • Stage and prep vehicles for transport

  • Complete exit photos prior to transport or redemption

  • Assist office with vehicle / property redemptions by bringing collateral to debtor

  • Properly dispose of expired personal property

  • Assist with programming keys

  • Assist with facility maintenance and lot organization

  • All other duties as required
