Job Description
Partner with cross-functional teams to create datasets and reporting that will be used across the organization. Work with analysts and developers to identify future data needs, improve reports used today, and continually improve processes that are manually executed today. Troubleshoot under pressure and clearly communicate to users as needed.
Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop Power BI reports and dashboards: Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards to help users understand data and make informed decisions.
  • Transform and cleanse data: Prepare data from various sources for analysis and reporting, including data cleaning and transformation tasks.
  • Develop and execute database queries: Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with business users to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Maintain and update reports and dashboards: Ensure reports and dashboards remain accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Stay updated on Power BI best practices and new features: Continuously learn and improve skills in Power BI development.

The US national base salary range for this position is $80,088 - $96,106. The base salary range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location and relevant education or experience.
Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must have experience and proficiency in Power BI Desktop, with a strong understanding of Power BI's features and functionalities
  • Experience with other BI tools or technologies (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Python, R) is a plus
  • SQL knowledge: Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Data modeling skills: Ability to design and implement data models for efficient reporting.
  • Data transformation and cleaning skills: Experience with data transformation and cleaning techniques.
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts: Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze data and identify solutions to business problems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Data Quality Assurance and Validation: Perform data validation to ensure consistency between source systems and BI reports

Work Environment
