Job title: Client Reporting Associate
Duration: 6 Months Contract To Perm
Location: Onsite, Can be in Chicago or NYC (hybrid basis)
Position Summary:
Client X is seeking an exceptional candidate to join its Investment Management Operations function. Reporting to the Director of Client Reporting, the Client Reporting Associate is part of Client X’s Investments middle-office team responsible for overseeing the production, review, approval, distribution and retention of client reports.
The Client Reporting Senior Associate will be responsible for the coordination of client deliverables and client ad-hoc requests. The primary focus will be to ensure all client reporting deliverables and commitments are being met timely and delivered accurately.
We seek a candidate who problem solves, takes initiative and has the capability to interact at all levels within the company. The role requires a detailed individual who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is team-orientated and collaborative to deliver on work projects.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Independently produce global standard and custom client reports.
  • Collaborate with Client Service teams on new and existing client reporting requirements and requests.
  • Maintain quality control, ensuring on-time delivery and report accuracy.
  • Coordinate information and data flow into and out of the report production process.
  • Utilize Excel skills to assist in solving complex problems, as well as review and enhance current Excel workflow and functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Excel skills (Macros, Advanced Formulae, Functions, Conditional Formatting)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills including a demonstrated ability to analyze and manage large sets of interconnected data and information.
  • Experience with large data sets and database relationships.
  • Attention to detail resulting in the production of consistent and quality work products.
  • Advanced time management skills resulting in the effective delivery of information for ad-hoc requests while continuing to perform day-to-day operational responsibility at the highest level.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of work experience. Experience in investment management or financial services environment preferred.
  • Adept at operating in high-volume, deadline-driven environments and thrive in an entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving atmosphere.
  • Problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative.
