Job description

Overview

The Control & Reporting Associate Manager is a key position within the PGCS North America (NA) Finance team.  This position is accountable for ensuring that the accounting and financial reporting processes in PGCS North America are performed to expectation.  This position reports directly to the PGCS NA Finance Manager and supports the Arlington and NASC Leadership teams on execution of the control and reporting agenda.  This role will also perform as steward for company assets and is responsible for developing and maintaining a control environment in accordance with PepsiCo policies.  There are a total of 5 PGCS locations in North America including a concentrate manufacturing plant and a distribution center in Arlington, Texas, 2 Distribution Centers in Georgia and Pennsylvania, and a Supply Chain support group based in PepsiCo HQ in New York.

Responsibilities
  • Completeness, accuracy and timeliness of execution of the period (domestic) and month (international: Mexico) close processes
  • Integrity of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Inter-company accounts receivable transactions and PGCS NA wider accounting processes
  • Create and maintain a strong internal control environment within North America. Lead the control agenda in PGCS NA
  • Collaborate with Operations team to ensure plant and warehouse processes are compliant to the defined control procedures and any issues are remediated promptly
  • Support the periodic review of plant production variances and ensure any control related follow up actions are implemented timely
  • Responsible for Leading quarterly PCS&D Balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations
  • Manage the relationships with functional and inter-company stakeholders within PGCS, PBC, Pepsi-Cola Mexicana with respect to accounting and financial reporting
  • Lead the financial management of the $75MM+ of inventory across North America
  • Drive PGCS transformation projects within C&R area and support outside of immediate area
  • Responsible for staffing, on-boarding, training and retention of PGCS NA Control and Reporting team
  • Manage team of 1 direct report, providing leadership and oversight.  Support learning and career development of team

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,500 - $133,400.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in financial control, accounting, financial analysis,
  • Experience in a manufacturing / Distribution Centre environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance field
  • Professional Accounting Certification:  CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong expertise in Sarbanes Oxley requirements and controls
  • Previous SAP Experience (3 years minimum)
