Job description

We're looking for an exceptional Staff Designer, Women's Health to join us in crafting the moments where data becomes understanding and understanding becomes action. Imagine designing experiences that help women and people with uteri better understand their reproductive health - and feel supported as their bodies change across days, months, and life stages. The Women's Health team makes complex physiology feel clear and compassionate, translating signals and symptoms into guidance that builds body literacy, confidence, and care.ย

We're building a future where women's health is treated as essential, not niche - and we're looking for an exceptional designer to join us in crafting thoughtful, inclusive experiences that meet people with clarity and warmth in the moments that matter most.

What you will do:

Imagine and articulate experiences that elevate how Oura supports women in cycle and symptom tracking, trying to conceive, and pregnancy monitoring, leveraging future health sensing features and next-generation hardware.

Use human-centered interface principles to design innovative product experiences for the Oura App and Ring, translating ideas into wireframes, prototypes, and refined visual design that inspire engagement and action.

Collaborate across Engineering, Product, Science, Research, and Design to build features that deepen context around sleep, activity, stress, recovery, and metabolic and heart health-ensuring they fit seamlessly into the broader app ecosystem and uphold a cohesive, high-quality experience.

This is a hybrid-remote role, with the expectation to work from our San Francisco offices at least half-time.

REQUIREMENTSย

We would love consider you for our role if you have:ย

  • 10+ years experience as a UI/UX designer, for a rapidly scaling or mass market mobile application
  • Experience with wearables, sensors, or connected devices
  • Track record of creative thinking and cross functional collaboration in support of influencing and launching multiple product features and products from 01
  • Comfortable embracing ambiguity to build clarity and structure
  • Mastery of Figma and rapid prototyping using modern design tools
  • Portfolio demonstrating your design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem solving skills
  • Open and collaborative communication skills; capable of working across disciplines and time zones
  • A passion for women's health and helping people improve their lives through body literacy
