You will be working from home, facilitating therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. We utilize advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient interactions, ensuring a focus on clinical responsibilities rather than administrative overhead. • Perform thorough, evidence-based assessments for children and adolescents to identify their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions and family therapy to enhance communication and strengthen relationships among family members, creating a nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals, including child psychiatrists, social workers, and educational specialists, to provide holistic care and ensure consistent treatment approaches that align with best practices in the field.
• Offer crisis intervention during emergencies involving youths, equipping them and their families with coping strategies and immediate support.
• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for patients and their families, enlightening them about various mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring a high standard of care.
• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to continually enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent mental health to inform your practice.

You will primarily work with children and adolescents aged 3-18 years who are dealing with a spectrum of mental health challenges. Your compassionate engagement will help these young individuals navigate their concerns, and your evidence-based approach will offer them vital coping strategies and resilience building. Engaging with their families will be critical as you help them foster supportive environments for their loved ones.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California is required; please note that current regulations prevent us from accepting applicants with an associate license due to billing restrictions.
• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience in providing individual and family therapy, preferably with a specialty in pediatric populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, showcasing a compassionate and engaging approach to working with children and their families.
• Competence in electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Prior experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with culturally competent practices and approaches to diverse populations is highly valued.
• Competence in additional therapeutic modalities, such as play therapy or family systems therapy, will be beneficial.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise.
