You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, who share a common goal of delivering exceptional mental health care tailored to our diverse client population.

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to gather pertinent information regarding clients' mental health challenges, history, and treatment goals.
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring that each plan aligns with the client's unique needs and aspirations.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, concentrating on fostering resilience and coping skills among clients.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, integrating input from other specialists to provide well-rounded and effective treatment solutions.
• Engaging with clients' families through educational sessions, helping them understand mental health issues and encouraging their involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintaining precise, confidential client records in adherence to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring that all documentation is consistently up-to-date.

Our clinic primarily focuses on women and families, providing them with a safe space to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal challenges. Counselors will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele from various cultural backgrounds, promoting cultural competence while enhancing the therapeutic experience.

• Must possess a valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; however, candidates with advanced degrees are strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is essential, showcasing your familiarity with therapeutic interventions and client management.
• Proven ability to demonstrate empathy, active listening, and exceptional problem-solving skills, aimed at encouraging clients through their recovery journey.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Candidates with specialized training or post-graduate certificates in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous for maintaining client documentation efficiently.
