Woman's Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. • Provide comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans that address pre-crisis and crisis situations.
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress promptly, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies, as determined by the clinical team, to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to the needs of clients.
• Actively contribute to the clinic's licensing and accreditation processes by demonstrating compliance with all required standards.
• Serve as a liaison to state agencies, relevant service systems, and community partners, fostering effective communication and cooperation.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with community organizations and private entities to promote our programs and identify potential alliances.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and meetings related to mental health.
• Integrate and promote the clinic’s mission, philosophy, and values in all interactions and activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall functioning of the clinic.

In this role, you will work with diverse populations, focusing particularly on women and vulnerable communities in Jacksonville. Our clients often face challenges related to emotional distress, substance use, and mental health disorders. Your role will involve developing trusting relationships with clients, guiding them through therapeutic processes that encourage recovery and personal growth, and ensuring that their unique needs are addressed with empathy and expertise.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Possession of an Independent LMHC License.

• Experience in a community health or counseling clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities relevant to mental health counseling.
• Previous experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly focusing on women and underserved communities.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
