Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Weโ€™re seeking a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented E-Retail Content Analyst to join our growing eCommerce team at The Wine Group. The E-Retail Content Analyst reports to the Director of eCommerce. Weโ€™re looking for a passionate digital marketer to manage the full eCommerce content machine. This role will focus on developing, syndicating, optimizing, and innovating content and digital shelf syndication across all eCommerce channels to build and maintain best-in-class eCommerce presence. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical aptitude, creativity, content fluency, and a strong interest in the food and beverage space. This role is eligible for remote work and travel as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage product content syndication through platforms such as Salsify, Syndigo, and direct retailer portals for full library of TWG SKUs and assets.
  • Support onboarding and maintenance of product data, ensuring content is complete, accurate, and optimized per retailer requirements and brand guidelines.
  • Partner with brand, creative, and marketing teams to gather, edit, and publish product imagery, copy, and digital assets.
  • Assist in the creation or editing of digital assets using tools like ITโ€™SRAPID, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or Canva.
  • Conduct routine audits of retailer PDPs to identify gaps, errors, or opportunities for enhancement.
  • Track and report on content syndication and quality performance, flagging issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve.
  • Collaborate with sales and distributor partners to support execution within the 3-tier system, ensuring compliance and alignment across Retail, B2B E-Comm, and DTC.
  • Develop internal standards and thought leadership on digital shelf trends, platform updates, and eCommerce best practices.
  • Act as the technical lead for all internal and external digital assets and SEO needs.
  • Support the Director of eCommerce with any and all deliverables regarding digital content assets, including building presentations, reports, and share outs.
  • Optimize consistent asset sharing with all major national customers, unlock syndication for more retail partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital content, or digital shelf management, preferably in the CPG or beverage alcohol industry.
  • Relevant experience in marketing, especially brand, E-Comm, and/or digital marketing in with wine, alcohol, or FMCG.
  • Technical skills in Salsify and similar PIM/DAM tools.
  • Experience with retailer content portals (e.g., Walmart, Item 360, etc.).
  • Demonstrated project management skills with excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Prior experience in shared service roles, such as internal or external agencies preferred.
  • Experience in evaluating data and making insight-based recommendations.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (can create powerful marketing presentations for internal and external customers and technical proficiency in managing data sets for data validation and uploads).
  • Experience with SEO and keyword optimization.
  • Creative design skills using tools Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Position operates in a virtual office environment.
  • The position includes travel to various industry and/or company events, up to 20% of the time.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. (a case of wine).

COMPENSATION

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $72,500 - $98,600.
  • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities, education, and other position related factors.
