Job description

About Wine.com

Wine.com is the nation’s leading online wine retailer, connecting millions of customers with the world’s finest wines. We’re a data-driven, fast-moving team that takes performance marketing seriously — and we’re building the team to match our ambitions.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Associate to join our in-house paid media team. Paid search is your core discipline — you know Google Ads cold, you’ve managed Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, and you think in terms of ROAS and contribution margin. You’ll own search while contributing across paid social and other channels as part of a collaborative, full-funnel acquisition team. Hybrid/Remote.

A Day in the Life

• Own and optimize paid search campaigns (brand, non-brand, Shopping, and Performance Max) across national and regional efforts

• Manage Google Merchant Center feeds — structure, optimization, and troubleshooting

• Build and iterate on campaigns with a test & learn mindset: copy, bids, audiences, match types

• Leverage value-based bidding and offline conversion data to optimize toward business outcomes — efficient revenue, margin, and customer LTV growth

• Partner with CRM, Product, and Engineering on first-party audience strategies and feed quality

• Monitor performance daily; build and maintain dashboards in enterprise reporting tools

• Collaborate cross-channel with the broader Digital Acquisition team on full-funnel strategy

What Sets You Apart

• Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Shopping, and Performance Max — not theoretical

• You’ve worked in ecommerce or retail; you understand product feeds, margin economics, and seasonal buying patterns

• Comfortable with data: pulling reports, managing spreadsheets, connecting performance signals to business impact, and knowing when numbers are telling the truth

• Building AI-powered workflows and automations in a marketing context — this is how you work, not something you’re curious about someday

• Adaptable — privacy changes, platform shifts, and algorithm updates don’t rattle you

• Eager to expand into paid social and other channels over time

• Attention to detail is in your DNA

• Passion for wine & spirits is a definite plus

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree

• 2–4 years of paid search / SEM experience with hands-on Shopping and Performance Max campaign management required

• Ecommerce or retail vertical experience required

• Google Merchant Center and feed management experience required

• Adobe Analytics experience preferred

• Paid social experience (Meta, TikTok, etc.) is a plus

• Search Ads 360 experience is a plus

Compensation Range

Base salary: $65,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience.
