• Provide high-quality virtual mental health therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of clients, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, to enhance the effectiveness of each session.
• Collaborate with clients to develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique experiences and goals.
• Guide clients through challenges related to their roles as first responders, using your expertise to offer practical strategies and emotional support.
• Regularly assess client progress, making thoughtful adjustments to therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on first responders, a population that often confronts significant emotional and psychological stressors, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression related to their work. Understanding the specific challenges faced by this group is crucial. You will be integral in promoting their mental well-being, providing them with tools and techniques to manage stress and build resilience.

• Active California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is highly preferred.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience providing mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient or telehealth setting.
• Proficient communication skills, ensuring clear and empathetic interaction with clients.
• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain organized clinical documentation using digital tools.

• Experience working specifically with first responders or in high-stress environments is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and the ability to adapt techniques to meet diverse client needs.
