Job description

Sales Consultant Inbound Leads Provided

Western View Painting | Wyoming | Full-Time | Field-Based | Performance-Based Location: Casper, Laramie, or Cheyenne, WY Compensation: $35,000$40,000 Base + Commission | Year One Target: $75,000$95,000 | Year Two: $95,000$115,000+

This Is Not a Cold-Call Role Most of the Year

March through November, every appointment you run is pre-scheduled and inbound generated by our marketing team and handed directly to you. Your job is to show up, build trust, present a compelling proposal, and close.

We run 300+ estimates per year across Wyoming. You will have a full pipeline from day one during peak season.

About Western View Painting

Western View Painting is a premium residential and commercial painting company serving Wyoming. We are intentionally building a structured, growth-focused organization with high standards in both sales and production.

We are not looking for someone to simply hand out quotes. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of results, chases clear goals, and contributes meaningfully to a team.

This is an opportunity to grow with a company that values discipline, professionalism, and long-term leadership development.

Compensation The Real Numbers
  • Base Salary: $35,000$40,000
  • Commission: Performance-based, tied to gross profit on closed jobs
  • Year One Target: $75,000$95,000
  • Year Two Target: $95,000$115,000+
  • Top Performer Potential: Uncapped

Commission is tied to profitable, completed work aligning your incentives directly with company success. We have done the math. A rep running our current lead volume at an average close rate earns well into six figures.

Who Thrives in This Role

This position is ideal for someone who:

  • Enjoys competing against goals and tracking performance
  • Gains energy from meeting new people and building trust
  • Takes pride in contributing to a team's success
  • Is disciplined enough to manage their own schedule and pipeline
  • Can work independently without constant supervision
  • Wants their income tied directly to performance

Sales in our environment is both relational and analytical. You will build rapport with homeowners and property managers while also protecting pricing and ensuring projects are profitable and executable.

The Role
  • Run pre-scheduled, inbound sales appointments during peak season (MarchNovember)
  • Conduct detailed on-site project walkthroughs
  • Measure, scope, and build accurate estimates
  • Present proposals clearly and professionally
  • Follow up consistently and manage your pipeline in our CRM
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth project handoff
  • Represent Western View Painting at a high standard

This is a field-based position with significant autonomy. Much of your time will be spent independently managing appointments, follow-ups, and planning your week.

Seasonal Structure

Our inbound lead volume is strongest March through November. During this period, your pipeline will be consistently full from our marketing program.

December through February is a different game. Lead volume slows seasonally, and that's when we expect our sales team to shift into prospecting mode. This means:

  • Networking in the local business community
  • Cold outreach to property managers, HOAs, and commercial contacts
  • Building relationships that generate maintenance contracts and recurring work

The reps who thrive here see winter as a competitive advantage, a chance to lock in commercial relationships while everyone else goes quiet. The reps who struggle are the ones who only know how to work a warm inbound pipeline.

If you're comfortable hunting when the season requires it, this role has significant upside year-round.

Growth Path

This role is designed to grow into:

  • Senior Sales Consultant
  • Sales Leadership
  • Operations or General Manager track as our company grows and expands

We promote from within and invest in high performers who want long-term opportunity.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven history of performance in a goal-driven environment (sales, athletics, military, or other measurable roles)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working with measurements, pricing, and basic financial metrics
  • Highly organized with disciplined follow-up habits
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Wyoming

Previous experience in in-home sales, home services, construction, or estimating is a plus but not required for the right candidate.

If you're looking for a long-term opportunity where performance matters, leadership potential is real, and your pipeline is handed to you - we'd love to talk.
