Position : Salesforce Program Director
Location: USA, Remote

A Salesforce Program Director would be a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic direction and successful execution of large-scale Salesforce program. This involves overseeing multiple projects, aligning them with business goals, managing large budgets and teams, and communicating with executive stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and project management methodologies like Agile.
Key responsibilities:
  • Strategic leadership: Defining the strategic direction for a portfolio of Salesforce programs, ensuring alignment with company-wide business goals.
  • Program and project management: Overseeing multiple Salesforce projects, coordinating timelines, resources, and budgets from initiation to completion.
  • Stakeholder management: Engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, to drive collaboration, secure alignment, and make key decisions.
  • Risk and issue management: Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and obstacles that could impact project delivery.
  • Team leadership: Managing and mentoring teams of administrators, developers, and other project team members.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Leading and coordinating efforts across multiple departments and teams, such as product, marketing, and IT, to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Technical oversight: Providing guidance on technical best practices, system design, and integration to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
  • Performance and reporting: Developing and managing program plans, creating reports, and monitoring key metrics to track progress and demonstrate business impact.
  • Agile Leadership: Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business objectives,Develop and maintain the Salesforce product roadmap across multiple clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Communications Cloud).
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring features deliver business value.Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

Required skills and experience:
  • Significant experience (18+ years) in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs pertaining to Salesforce
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to interact with C-suite executives and technical teams.
  • Expertise in the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Ability to work with and manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a fast-paced environment.
