Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance which is foundational to our organizational philosophy. The work hours are designed for convenience, with available scheduling options of either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, providing coverage during the hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the LCSW at Holistic Counseling & Wellness Center include, but are not limited to:

• Providing individual and group psychotherapy to students, ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Conducting thorough interviews to collect essential information about clients’ social, personal, environmental, and health histories.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans and making necessary adjustments based on each client's unique needs.
• Coordinating and implementing programs tailored to enrich the emotional and social wellness of clients.
• Facilitating case management for cognitive, behavioral, and emotional health issues—addressing crises and coordinating referrals to external community resources when necessary.
• Building and maintaining trusting, respectful relationships with clients and their families throughout the counseling process.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation in client records according to established protocols, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Managing a dynamic caseload to meet program demands and deliver timely services.
• Participating in team meetings and training to enhance collaboration and continuous improvement among staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a range of behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and family or relationship challenges. The LCSW will work closely with students to provide emotional support, develop coping strategies, and facilitate personal growth, thereby contributing to their educational success and personal well-being.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unencumbered licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experiences are desired:

• At least four years of experience in clinical settings or social work, particularly within school or educational environments.
• Proven track record of working with diverse populations and exposure to treatment modalities for behavioral health issues, including addiction, trauma, and crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools and telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

Holistic Counseling & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we are pleased to provide:
