As a remote telehealth provider based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, you will work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients from various locations. The telehealth setting eliminates geographical barriers, allowing you to engage with a diverse population. With no on-call responsibilities, you will have complete control over your schedule, which can be tailored around your personal commitments from Monday to Sunday.

• Conduct weekly, evidence-based therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, providing care to adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological disorders.

• Utilize standardized symptom self-assessments and monitoring tools to assess client progress and inform treatment adjustments effectively.

• Document clinical interactions promptly and accurately within the user-friendly electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

• Collaborate with Brightside psychiatric providers and fellow counselors, sharing insights to enhance the comprehensive treatment of mutual clients.

• Participate in weekly consultation sessions with leadership for guidance, support, and collaboration on complex cases.

• Implement tailored therapeutic techniques to address clients’ specific needs, applying the Unified Protocol for various mental health challenges.

Our primary clientele includes adults navigating a range of emotional disorders, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological issues. By leveraging Brightside's telehealth capabilities, clients have access to timely support and resources despite geographical constraints. This position empowers you to provide personalized, culturally competent care that respects the individual backgrounds and experiences of each client.

• Must hold a valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Oregon.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience working with adult populations.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.

• Strong familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic record keeping.

• Commitment to culturally responsive and client-centered care.

• Experience with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Prior training or interest in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicide (CAMS) is advantageous.

• Experience in crisis intervention practices and working with at-risk populations.
