• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients' histories and establish tailored treatment approaches.
• Formulate and implement customized treatment plans that prioritize recovery and resilience, adapting strategies to individual patient needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the processing of trauma and equipping them with essential coping strategies.
• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary professionals to create a cohesive treatment plan that addresses all aspects of the patient’s care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and emotional stability.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, resilience skills, and available community resources to foster understanding and support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation that aligns with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focusing on trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in trauma therapy through continuous education and research, applying new knowledge to practice.

Our dedicated team serves a diverse clientele, primarily individuals affected by trauma in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Many of our patients may be managing complex trauma, PTSD, or dissociative disorders, each requiring sensitive, individualized approaches and strategies for effective healing. You will be instrumental in bridging their past experiences with paths toward resilience and better mental health.

To thrive in this role, candidates must hold a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania. Applicants should have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution to ensure expertise in therapeutic practices.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value commitment to quality care and knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and a strong ability to communicate compassionately with clients are crucial for this role.
