Our practice is dedicated to evidence-based approaches and ensuring that every client receives personalized care aimed at fostering resilience and recovery. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, our multi-disciplinary team works together to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work from a comfortable and convenient location. Despite being virtual, we prioritize ongoing communication and team collaboration through regular video conferences and digital consultations. This setting ensures that our counselors remain connected, supported, and engaged in their professional development while providing essential services to those in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and define appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans that concentrate on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and individual patient goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective patient care.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment that encourages clients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and support their healing journey.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
  • Offer immediate crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and effective assistance.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, providing resources for further support.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to ongoing discussions about trauma-informed practices and new treatment methods.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your skill set and improve patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with trauma survivors, including individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our focus is to support and engage clients from diverse backgrounds, offering a therapeutic space that recognizes and respects their unique experiences. Your role will be crucial in guiding them through the healing process, empowering them to reclaim their lives and navigate their futures.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, ideally within trauma-informed care.
Preferred Experience
  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Experience delivering trauma-focused therapy and interventions that adapt to individual patient needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and assist clients in crisis.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to efficiently navigate digital platforms.
  • Commitment to collaboration as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflective of the skills and experience you bring to our organization. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health insurance coverage to promote your well-being.
