Our outpatient practice is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive environment conducive to healing. We are particularly skilled in addressing conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to develop integrated care plans that prioritize the mental, emotional, and psychological well-being of our clients.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to extend care to those in need. You will join a supportive and collaborative team of professionals, including psychiatrists and mental health therapists. Flexible work hours, primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, will be provided, with some adjustability as needed to accommodate the schedules of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma history and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing processes.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma and building coping strategies in a supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and mental health professionals to provide holistic care that addresses both psychological and medication management needs.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, empowering them on their paths to recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and professionalism in all communications.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and collaborative meetings with the team to ensure continuous improvement in trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay current with ongoing research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance your clinical practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have been impacted by various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other related mental health disorders. Our holistic approach emphasizes developing personalized interventions that aid in trauma recovery and foster resilience within clients.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • You must hold a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, as well as the ability to implement them effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care, essential for building rapport and trust with clients.
  • Adept in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems, maintaining accurate documentation while efficiently managing patient information.
  • Capacity to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and familiarity with various treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a remote setting effectively while maintaining engagement with patients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge or prior involvement in training or continuing education focusing on trauma-informed care practices.
