Job description

Consilio's client, a rapidly growing national insurance defense law firm, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity for an attorney with a strong litigation background who is looking to work on a variety of insurance defense matters.

Position Details

  • Client: Rapidly Growing National Insurance Defense Law Firm
  • Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney
  • Location: Remote
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week, no overtime expected)
  • Start Date: August 2026
  • Duration: At least 6 months, with the possibility of extension
  • Pay Rate: $75/hour

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of insurance defense litigation matters.
  • Take and defend depositions and manage written discovery requests and responses.
  • Draft dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions in limine.
  • Assist with case strategy, file review, and trial preparation.
  • Prepare accurate billing narratives in accordance with insurance carrier guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
  • Experience defending claims involving tort/premises liability, employment, medical malpractice, or professional liability.
  • Familiarity with insurance carrier billing practices and drafting compliant billing narratives.
  • Trial experience is not required but is a plus.
  • Active Nevada Bar license in good standing is required.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and case management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
