We deliver secure, high-quality language solutions in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.
We are seeking Kyrgyz Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract.
Responsibilities
  • Provide real-time Kyrgyz English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
  • Interpret accurately, neutrally, and professionally in immigration and legal contexts.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
  • Handle both scheduled and urgent/surge interpretation requests.
  • Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
Qualifications
  • Native or near-native fluency in Kyrgyz and English.
  • 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, community, legal, or government preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
  • Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.
