Reporting to the Assistant Director for Systems Operations, the 3rd Party Systems Administrator is responsible for third-party system configuration and maintenance. This includes enabling and setting up system configurations, evaluating integrations, supporting system upgrades, optimizing existing configurations, troubleshooting issues, and producing system configuration documentation.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Three (3) years or more experience working as an application administrator to maintain configurations, understand integrations, configure new features, review system upgrade information, and optimize system configurations.
  • Three (3) years or more experience providing customer service to troubleshoot issues and assist with system configuration changes.
  • Six (6) months or more experience working as a business analyst, financial analyst, data analyst, or in a comparable role within a business unit utilizing an ERP or third-party application.
  • Equivalent combination of experience/education may be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience
Five to seven years of experience working as an application administrator to maintain configurations, understand integrations, configure new features, review system upgrade information, and optimize system configurations
Five to seven years in customer service to troubleshoot issues and assist with system configuration changes
One year to three years of experience working as a business analyst, financial analyst, data analyst, or in a comparable role within a business unit
Master's degree in a related field
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support and system maintenance for third-party applications (configurations, access updates, data issues, workflow updates, liaison with third-party applications contacts)
Analyze and review system data to maintain timeliness of system operations and identify any possible issues or areas of improvement
Troubleshoot production data and configuration issues related to third party applications
Provide third-party system data and configuration support during system upgrades
Produce job aids and training documentation for third-party systems
Work with stakeholders and module owners to optimize and troubleshoot third-party system configurations
Assist stakeholders, module owners, and business process analysts with understanding integrations between the third-party applications and the ERP system
Generate reports from third-party applications to provide data to functional areas
Participate in enhancement projects involving third-party systems
