Overview:
PBG is seeking a Salesforce - Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of a mission-critical Salesforce-based solution for the US Department of Transportation. The Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, validate system functionality, and ensure compliance with federal security standards.
What You Will Do:
  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts (automated and manual as needed) to validate Salesforce-based system functionality, workflows, and integrations.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure the solution meets stakeholder requirements and federal compliance standards.
  • Quickly learn and work with agency-provided automated testing systems to test application functionality, API integrations, and availability monitoring.
  • Validate data migration from legacy systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, user stories, and system workflows to design effective test strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews) to provide quality assurance insights and align testing with sprint goals.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate training materials to ensure usability and adoption.
  • Create and maintain QA documentation, including test results, defect reports, and quality metrics, for gate reviews and project deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.

What You Will Bring With You:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical disciplines
  • 3 years as a Quality Assurance & Test Engineer developing, documenting, and executing application test plans and scripts for software development projects.
  • 1+ years working on a large Salesforce implementation.
  • 1+ years working with automated testing systems.
  • 3 years of experience and proven proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 1+ years of experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation.
  • Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
  • Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
  • Must be a United States (U.S.) Citizen or Green card, and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract, and laws do apply
  • Ability to obtain a federal government public trust clearance.

  • Experience testing Salesforce solutions for federal government clients, particularly those leveraging Salesforce's Public Sector Solutions.
  • Experience with automated testing tools for Salesforce environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance testing
  • Experience testing compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
  • Prior experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation.
