Position Summary - OEM Program Manager
The OEM Program Manager is responsible for engaging, managing, and improving critical business partnerships that enhance PureCars' offering. This role assists in discussions, ensures proper implementation, and manages the overall relationship with OEM partners to build strong, successful, long-term partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist BD Director in the development and execution of partnerships
  • Ensure timely execution of each partner opportunity through close collaboration with internal and external parties on specification development
  • Work with PureCars' Development, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to manage and grow key existing partnerships
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, understand timelines including time to market, and assist with risk mitigation
  • Maintain communication with Partners and other project stakeholders
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively
  • Assist in developing negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration with PureCars' operations, examining risks, and estimating partners' needs and goals
  • Create and maintain comprehensive partner program documentation
  • Manage relationships with existing Partners to ensure a consistent, high level of functionality, service, and performance
  • Assist Sales and Marketing teams with program specifics and customer service
  • Update Customer Experience, Sales, and Marketing departments on PureCars' partnerships
  • Keep up-to-date on technology trends
  • Assist with monthly billing of partnerships
  • Ensure monthly reporting deliverables are met for partnerships, including troubleshooting and working with Development to ensure adherence to partner reporting specifications
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Qualifications
  • 4-year college degree; BA in Business preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years managing partner relations within automotive technology, with knowledge of the automotive technology landscape related to dealerships - including trends, partners, and opportunities
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing, Programmatic Display, Social Media, YouTube, and more
  • Salesforce experience highly preferred, including building Salesforce reports
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the full Google Product Suite
  • Strong relationship management experience with business partners, technology teams, and senior management
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), including strong presentation and public speaking experience with the ability to effectively address both technical and non-technical audiences and influence decision-makers toward effective solutions
  • Strong analytical skills regarding technical and contractual aspects of partner relationships
  • Innovative problem solver - able to recognize gaps in process and propose appropriate resolutions
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous and/or stressful situations
  • Ability to consistently learn new technologies
  • Willingness to travel (~20%) to visit Partners
  • Passionate about working with clients and partners
  • Basic understanding of accounting and billing practices
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
