What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Technical Lead, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Technical Lead, you need deep expertise in software development, systems architecture, and project management, usually backed by a relevant degree and significant industry experience. Familiarity with collaboration tools (like Jira, Git, and Slack), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and agile methodologies is essential, and certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or PMP can be advantageous.
