To thrive as a Remote Technical Lead, you need deep expertise in software development, systems architecture, and project management, usually backed by a relevant degree and significant industry experience. Familiarity with collaboration tools (like Jira, Git, and Slack), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and agile methodologies is essential, and certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or PMP can be advantageous. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills help you motivate distributed teams and bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders. What is a Remote Technical Lead?

A Remote Technical Lead is a senior technology professional who oversees and guides a distributed team of developers or engineers from a remote location. Remote Technical Leads use collaboration tools and communication platforms to manage and support their teams effectively. Their role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Prologis is scaling responsible AI across every business line. As a Technical Lead for the Functional Salesforce Architecture & CRM team, you will help turn high-value business opportunities into adopted solutions. Your work will connect AI, CRM, data, and integration capabilities to practical outcomes for the business.

This is a cross-cutting role between business strategy and AI technology delivery. You will partner with business leaders and technology teams to move ideas from discovery to pilot and production. Success depends on adoption, workflow impact, user trust, data quality, reliable integrations, and scalable execution across Prologis.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead cross-business initiatives: Guide AI-enabled CRM and workflow work from discovery through rollout. Keep teams focused on business value and measurable outcomes.
  • Frame AI opportunities: Identify where AI can improve business workflows. Bifurcate high-value use cases from ideas better solved through process changes.
  • Translate needs into delivery plans: Turn business needs into clear requirements, user stories, workflow designs, and rollout plans. Make complex work easier to execute.
  • Shape AI design patterns: Help define practical approaches for CRM workflow agents, Customer Intelligence and Insights, CRM search and retrieval, tool calling, and prompt patterns.
  • Support responsible AI: Ensure CRM related AI solutions use the right level of evaluation, guardrails, human review, governance, and feedback loops.
  • Guide CRM and platform design: Connect Salesforce and CRM decisions to the surrounding data, reporting, AI, and integration landscape. Align design choices to scalable delivery.
  • Coordinate delivery: Keep business and technology stakeholders aligned on scope, risks, dependencies, data readiness, and change needs. Remove blockers early.
  • Build repeatable practices: Codify lessons into playbooks, templates, enablement materials, and reusable solution patterns.

Building blocks for success:

Required:

  • Experience: 7+ years in technical leadership or enterprise technology delivery, with relevant experience in Salesforce, CRM, AI, data, or digital transformation.
  • Cross-functional delivery: Experience owning initiatives that connect business priorities to process design, systems, integrations, delivery, and adoption. This role will build trusted relationships with key business stakeholders and be responsible for the completing the prototyping/product against aggressive turnaround timing. This is end to end ownership of requirements gathering to quick implementation.
  • AI fluency: Strong understanding of generative AI and agentic workflows. Comfortable with retrieval, evaluation, guardrails, and prompt patterns.
  • Platform knowledge: Experience with complex Salesforce or CRM multi module instances and adjacent data, reporting, API, automation, or AI capabilities.
  • Business process leadership: Ability to facilitate discovery, document decisions, and bring structure to complex or evolving business needs.
  • Communication and influence: Able to engage business leaders and technical teams with clarity. Comfortable influencing across teams that do not share the same reporting line.
  • Sound judgment: Comfort balancing innovation with quality, risk, user trust, and long-term scalability.
  • AI delivery experience: Experience piloting and scaling AI capabilities such as workflow assistants, AI driven intelligence, automation, or decision support.
  • Data and integration depth: Hands-on exposure to Snowflake, Customer Data Platform design and implementation, data governance, data quality, or integration design. Experience with APIs, middleware, ETL/ELT, or data platforms is helpful.
  • Reusable operating models: Experience creating standards, playbooks, templates, communities of practice, or enablement materials that help teams adopt new capabilities consistently.
  • Experimentation and prototyping: Interest and experience in turning ideas into demonstratable prototypes within a measure of days, then evaluating and iterating.

Preferred:

  • Industry experience: Background in logistics real estate or adjacent B2B operations.
  • Team Structure: Experience working with extended teams for scaling development, both onshore and offshore.

Hiring Salary Range of: $128,000 - $185,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
