  • Strategic Test-Taking & Problem-Solving: Skilled at teaching structural member design, load analysis, and code reference navigation for PE Civil Structural examination. Guides students through designing beams, columns, and connections in steel and concrete, calculating lateral forces, and applying building code provisions. Emphasizes efficient use of design manuals and reference codes under timed examination conditions and connecting theory to practical structural design.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with PE Civil Structural depth examination and common challenges such as navigating multiple design codes simultaneously, performing seismic analysis calculations, and managing time across complex design problems. Adapts instruction using NCEES practice examinations, code reference exercises, and structural design problems to support PE candidates preparing for the civil structural depth examination.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
