Job description

Analytic Engagement Officer

Reston, VA and remote (hybrid)
Active TS/SCI preferredย

At Bcore, our strength comes from how we deliver impact to the mission. Whether itโ€™s architecting critical IT solutions, producing actionable intelligence, or developing cutting edge technology, we succeed because of the expertise, collaboration, and agility of our teams. Our Insight Solutions division delivers intelligence analysis, advanced data science, and strategic decision support. Bcore accelerates decisive advantage for warfighters and intelligence professionals by fusing human insight, rapid-fire engineering, precision-measured outcomes, and relentless grit into mission-ready solutions.ย

Are you ready to lean into analytic approaches that show customers the power of both technical and methodological innovation? Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Analytic Engagement Officer in Reston, VA and remote (hybrid).

You'll plan, execute, and document analytic and technical exchanges that support IC customer requirements. This is not a production role; you won't author finished intelligence, but every engagement is run with tradecraft: weighing topics against standing requirements, spotting gaps worth chasing, and keeping exchanges focused on intelligence value rather than process.

You'll be the link between strategic requirements, SMEs, and the working-level conversations where analytic insight gets shared and tested. Success looks like substantive exchanges, rigorous read-outs, and conversations that stay on the customer's priorities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute analytic and technical exchanges, including bilateral and multilateral working sessions, topical deep-dives, and recurring engagement series
  • Translate strategic intelligence requirements into engagement plans (objectives, participant slates, agendas, read-ahead packages), informed by analytic judgment of what each conversation needs to surface
  • Steer engagements in real time: recognize when a thread warrants pursuit, when scope needs tightening, and when discussion should redirect toward customer priorities
  • Document exchanges with analytic rigor: capture substance, identify implications, flag intelligence gaps and follow-ups, and produce read-outs usable by analysts and decision-makers
  • Maintain situational awareness across topics, partners, and equities so engagements build on one another rather than operate in isolation
  • Coordinate across mission centers, directorates, partner organizations, and external SMEs; manage logistics (scheduling, venues, materials, taskers) without losing analytic focus
  • Identify and surface emerging topics, recurring questions, and pattern shifts observed across engagements
  • Recommend adjustments to engagement cadence, format, or participation based on observed effectiveness and shifting priorities

Required Qualifications:ย  ย

  • 5+ years of experience as an Intelligence Community analyst (All-Source Analyst or Mission Center analyst, regional or topical focus)ย
  • Bachelor's degree international affairs, regional studies, intelligence studies, or a related field, Master's preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytic tradecraft consistent with ICD 203 standards
  • Experience producing finished intelligence for IC customers
  • Strong writing, briefing, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Working knowledge of IC organizational equities, taskings, and analytic battle rhythms
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Desired Qualifications:ย ย

  • Prior or active TS/SCI clearanceย
  • Experience facilitating or coordinating engagements spanning multiple IC components, interagency partners, foreign liaison partners (FVEY or other), academia, or industry
  • Mission Center experience in a regional or topical area aligned to current customer priorities
  • Demonstrated experience producing read-outs, after-action reports (AARs), trip reports, or memoranda for the record (MFRs) that informed senior-level or executive decision-making
  • Familiarity with foreign disclosure processes, partner engagement protocols, or interagency coordination mechanisms
  • Prior experience in a liaison, integree, or detailee capacity within the IC

BCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law.
