Job description

What We Do
Rillet serves accounting and finance teams-the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight.
Rillet is the AI-native ERP that middle-market and enterprise companies trust for revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, and investor reporting. To enable real-time finance and a continuous close, Rillet rebuilt the general ledger from the ground up for the AI era. Rillet serves companies from Series A through the public markets, including Mercor, Scribe, and Function Health, and is a certified partner of top accounting firms like EY and KPMG.
This huge market is ours to take. We have raised $100M+ from leading investors, including Sequoia, a16z, Iconiq, Oak HC/FT, and First Round, to help everyone run their numbers at the speed of AI.
Who We Are
Rillet's pace is not for everyone. Intelligence is table stakes. To succeed here, you need extreme speed, agency, and flexibility.
The people who thrive at Rillet do not wait for assignments. They internalize the mission, design a strategy, and bring back results that are better, faster, and more creative than a manager could have asked for.
Our work revolves around our customers. The people who succeed here are energized by delivering what matters most, even when it was not part of the original plan.
Rillet is built on deep accounting expertise, and it takes people from many disciplines to build a category-defining company. You do not need to be an accountant to thrive here. You do need to care deeply about the problems we solve and the impact our customers can create. Together, we combine the precision of accounting with the speed, creativity, and ambition of AI-native software to power the financial core of the world's fastest-growing companies while redefining what finance teams should expect from their software.
Who We Need
We are building industry-defining accounting and finance software. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Deployment Lead to join our team and help lead the successful onboarding of new customers onto Rillet.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is excited to work directly with customers and help finance teams modernize how they operate. You may come from Big 4 audit, accounting advisory, finance transformation, or an operational accounting role at a high-growth technology company. You do not need to have formally led ERP implementations before, but you do need to be systems-minded, highly organized, customer-oriented, and eager to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
We're primarily looking for teammates who are based near our New York City or San Francisco offices, or open to relocating. For this role, we're also open to remote candidates based anywhere in the United States. Our hybrid schedule brings office-based team members together in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day each week. Some roles may spend more time in the office depending on the needs of the team.
What You'll Do
  • Lead key parts of customer onboarding and deployment, helping ensure a smooth and timely implementation experience
  • Partner with internal teams across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to execute implementation plans and solve customer problems quickly
  • Learn and analyze client accounting and finance workflows, then translate those needs into clear requirements and practical solutions
  • Guide customers through onboarding, training, change management, and adoption
  • Support data migration, reconciliations, systems setup, and integration coordination
  • Track milestones, drive follow-through, and keep internal and external stakeholders aligned throughout the onboarding process
  • Identify risks early, escalate issues quickly, and help keep customer launches on track
  • Build trust with customers by being responsive, thoughtful, and solutions-oriented
  • Maintain clear documentation and provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
Who We're Looking For
  • 4-7 years of experience in accounting, audit, advisory, or related customer-facing roles
  • Strong accounting foundation, with the ability to speak credibly about close, reconciliations, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and core finance workflows
  • Excellent communication skills and the presence to work directly with customers and senior stakeholders
  • Systems-minded and excited to learn implementation work, even if you have not formally held an implementation title before
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience in Big 4, SaaS or at a technology company is a plus
Life at Rillet
  • Grow with us. Take meaningful ownership, expand your scope, and make an impact as Rillet scales.
  • Competitive pay and meaningful equity. Be rewarded for the value you help create.
  • Benefits that support you. We offer medical and dental coverage, including up to 100% of employee premiums and 90% of dependent premiums, along with a 401(k), flexible PTO, nine company-wide holidays, and paid parental leave for eligible employees.
  • Better together. We're hybrid-first, with teams centered in New York City and San Francisco, as well as select remote roles. Our offices are stocked with snacks, we regularly provide lunch and dinner, and we make time to connect as a team.
