About this Role

Ampacity is seeking a Sales Associate to support the sales team in a role that blends project coordination with hands-on selling. You'll sit in on sales calls, capture what customers need, and make sure those commitments get executed across operations, logistics, design, and other departments-you're the link between what we sell and what we deliver. You'll also start building your own pipeline: qualifying leads, light prospecting, and closing smaller deals while supporting Sales Managers on larger ones. It's a development role for someone highly organized who knows what's urgent, what can wait, and when to escalate. 

The role is 100% remote. 

Pay Range: $80,000 - $85,000

What You'll Do
  • Qualify inbound leads and conduct light outbound prospecting to identify new solar opportunities 
  • Own smaller, straightforward deals through to close, and support Sales Managers on larger pursuits 
  • Initiate sales and engineering tasks for new solar opportunities 
  • Create and manage opportunities, estimates, and sales actions in NetSuite 
  • Manage pipeline forecasting and reporting in NetSuite 
  • Attend business development calls and capture action items for the internal team 
  • Prioritize and distribute notes to the appropriate stakeholders 
  • Track action items through completion to ensure customer deliverables are met 
  • Coordinate with sales and engineering to ensure estimates are accurate, complete, and delivered on time 
  • Support the sales team with customer outreach, meeting scheduling, and day-to-day tasks 
  • Attend tradeshows and customer visits with the sales team 
  • Update NetSuite with customer Total Addressable Market information as needed 
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business  
  • 0-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or marketing 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities  
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong documentation abilities  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems like NetSuite
