Job Title: Solutions Consultant - Manufacturing Software

Location: Initially can be remote in the US, Future Expectations are to be in Irving, Texas office

About Snic Solutions

At Snic Solutions, we work with manufacturers to adopt and scale smart manufacturing software solutions, including Siemens Opcenter, Insights Hub, and Factory Thread. Our approach goes beyond technical implementation-we focus on delivering business outcomes that transform manufacturing operations.

We are shifting from one-off projects to productized, recurring XaaS offerings, and are building repeatable solution packages, accelerators, and playbooks that reduce time-to-value for our customers.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Solutions Consultant - Manufacturing Software who will work across both technical and functional domains. You will be involved in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing software solutions, while also contributing to the standardization and productization of how these solutions are delivered.

You will be based in USA and work remotely, with your workday aligned to US business hours, collaborating with teams and customers in North America and other regions.

This role is ideal for:

  • Technical professionals who want to transition into a functional consulting role.
  • Functional consultants who want to develop deeper technical skills in manufacturing IT solutions.
  • Individuals who aspire to become Solution Architects, combining technology and business thinking to design impactful solutions.

If you enjoy problem-solving, working with both customers and internal teams, and designing end-to-end solutions in manufacturing software, this role fits you well.

Your Role

As a Solutions Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and deploying manufacturing software solutions for our customers. You will work with manufacturing leaders, process owners, and technical teams to deliver solutions that drive efficiency, visibility, and agility in production environments.

Alongside project work, you will contribute to productizing our solution offerings by creating playbooks, templates, and reusable assets that make implementations faster, more consistent, and easier to adopt.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support the implementation of manufacturing software solutions, including Siemens Opcenter, Insights Hub, Factory Thread, and related platforms.
  • Work directly with manufacturing stakeholders to analyze business needs, identify challenges, and translate them into scalable software solutions.
  • Configure and support integration of software to improve production planning, scheduling, execution, and quality management.
  • Wear multiple hats, contributing to both technical problem-solving and business process consulting, depending on project needs.
  • Facilitate an agile deployment approach, using iterative releases, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with development, integration, and business teams to ensure interoperability with ERP, MRP, QMS, and other manufacturing IT systems.
  • Provide customer training and change management support to drive successful software adoption.

Productization & Knowledge Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain internal playbooks, templates, reference architectures, and checklists for our solution offerings, so projects can start from proven patterns rather than from scratch.
  • Capture and organize knowledge from past implementations into a structured internal knowledge base (lessons learned, best practices, common configurations, FAQs).
  • Review selected existing implementations to extract repeatable patterns and convert them into standardized approaches and assets.
  • Create internal training material and contribute to onboarding paths for consultants working with our solution stack.
  • Support the evolution of our XaaS and solution packages by suggesting improvements to scope, methodology, and collateral based on real project experience.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Technical or functional background in manufacturing software implementation, preferably in MOM/MES, IIoT, APS, or related domains.
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to connect business challenges to technology solutions.
  • Willingness to work across different roles, including both technical and functional responsibilities, to build end-to-end expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with software implementation-either as a developer, system integrator, business analyst, or consultant.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, including production planning, execution, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Experience with agile implementation (Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative deployment approaches).
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills, comfortable interacting with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability and interest in producing clear documentation, diagrams, and playbooks that others can follow.
  • Knowledge of ERP, MRP, QMS, and related manufacturing IT systems is an advantage.
  • Interest in evolving into a Solution Architect role, combining technical expertise and business acumen to deliver high-impact projects.
  • Ability to work remotely from Brazil while aligning your schedule with US time zones.

Why Join Snic Solutions?

  • Accelerated Career Path - Gain exposure to both technical and functional aspects of manufacturing software, creating a strong path toward a Solution Architect role.
  • Global Impact - Work with manufacturers across industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, and medical devices.
  • Diverse Responsibilities - Take on work across implementation, consulting, solution design, and internal productization.
  • Innovative Environment - Operate in a company that embraces Industry 4.0, IIoT, and agile ways of working.
  • XaaS & New Offerings - Contribute directly to how we shape and scale new solution offerings and recurring business models.
  • Continuous Learning - Build skills on Siemens Opcenter, Insights Hub, Factory Thread, and other advanced manufacturing technologies.
