Harbor Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team in Athens, Georgia. As a fully remote position, this role provides the flexibility to work from home while maintaining regular business hours. There may be occasional evening and weekend commitments for special events, team meetings, or community outreach initiatives. • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their social, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Provide both individual and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address a variety of challenges faced by clients.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans tailored to clients' specific goals and objectives, ensuring that care is relevant and impactful.
• Advocate tirelessly for clients' rights, assisting them in gaining access to essential resources and addressing pertinent social justice issues.
• Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance our service offerings, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Engage in program development, evaluation, and grant reporting activities to support ongoing initiatives and funding opportunities.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and community outreach activities to strengthen our collective impact and enhance your own professional development.

Your work as an LCSW at Harbor Therapy Center will focus primarily on hospice clients along with their families, providing critical emotional support during some of life’s most challenging moments. You will apply a trauma-informed care lens, ensuring that each individual receives compassionate and personalized support tailored to their unique circumstances. By advocating for your clients and facilitating access to necessary resources, you will contribute meaningfully to their emotional well-being and comfort during the hospice process.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required to practice in Georgia.
• A strong foundation in social justice principles, advocacy skills, and trauma-informed care methodologies is crucial.
• Exceptional communication skills, along with empathy and organizational abilities, will be vital in providing effective client-centered care.

• Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization or similar setting is strongly preferred, ideally within a hospice or end-of-life care context.
• Familiarity with community resources and a demonstrated understanding of social justice and advocacy challenges will enhance the effectiveness of your role.

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
