• Review estimates, bids, change orders, and pay applications while monitoring cost performance and proactively addressing overruns.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, and brand teams to manage updates, deviations, prototype documentation, and field-driven revisions.
• Manage general contractors, millwork and fixture suppliers, and specialty trades across the refresh program.
• Lead project kickoffs, weekly construction calls, and site coordination meetings to resolve constructability, schedule, and logistics issues and keep stores on track.
• Partner closely with store operations, facilities, and loss prevention teams to plan construction activities that minimize disruption to customers and staff.
• Coordinate off-hour work, phased closures, and turnover schedules to support smooth store operations during refreshes.
• Oversee permitting, inspections, and jurisdictional approvals while ensuring compliance with local codes, ADA requirements, and company safety standards.
• Manage punch lists, store turnover, closeout documentation, and warranties.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and consistent reporting on schedule, budget, risks, and milestones.
• Support executive-level updates and rollout performance reviews.
What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience managing retail or commercial construction or facilities projects.
• Proven experience delivering multi-site retail rollouts or refresh programs.
• Strong understanding of retail construction, fixtures, finishes, and prototypes.
• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore, Excel).
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with occupied retail renovations and fast-track schedules.
• Familiarity with national rollouts and standardized design packages.
• Experience working with national retail brands and repeat vendor networks.
Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. We encourage you to apply if you can meet most of the requirements and are comfortable opening a dialog to be considered.
