The Recovery Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a full-time mental health professional. • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gauge patients’ mental health statuses, identifying their strengths and specific needs to tailor interventions effectively.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to provide impactful treatment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement coordinated care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medications to foster informed decision-making.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing a range of evidence-based approaches to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the treatment team, ensuring alignment with patients’ goals and preferences.
• Assist patients in navigating the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their rights and ensuring their needs are addressed.
• Lead psychoeducation sessions, therapeutic group activities, and discharge planning discussions, helping patients acquire essential coping skills and resources.

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychiatric disorders. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients build resilience and develop effective coping strategies within a supportive framework.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and adapt to the evolving needs of patients.

• Experience in community mental health settings or health clinics is a plus, particularly in providing direct clinical services.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is beneficial for maintaining accurate patient documentation.
