Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to analyze each patient's mental health status, strengths, and unique needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, appropriate treatment options, and medication management.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities tailored to each patient's circumstances.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in partnership with the treatment team, aligning with patients' goals and aspirations.
  • Guide patients through the complexities of the mental health system, advocating effectively for their rights and needs.
  • Organize and lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducational sessions, and discharge planning meetings to optimize the recovery process.
