Job description

Role Purpose
The Sales Analyst is responsible for researching, reviewing, and communicating performance summaries for various sales initiatives across all Hain. Additionally, the incumbent prepares various promotional and new item forms and works with the NAM team to prepare and present semi-annual line reviews.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages distribution of weekly reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Prepares feature submission materials in a timely and extremely accurate, manner for all assigned categories, meet established submission deadlines.
  • Coordinates new item information as supplied by Corporate and ensures correct communication on launch timing, paperwork needs, exclusivity, etc.
  • Researches and assists in the preparation of account specific category line reviews.
  • Utilizes account review system to develop specific reporting capabilities inclusive of volume and tracking reports, as necessary.
  • Creates and/or finalize monthly retail sales slides for assigned categories.
  • Assists team in monitoring and communicating (to the Field Sales) any and all new store set schedules, resets of existing stores, and retail store grand openings.
  • Maintains and edits account specific marketing calendars in a timely fashion and ensure all changes are communicated to NAM
  • Ensures flow through of promotional plans and input of pre-orders against promotional activity.
  • Manages and co-ordinates all sample requests - new items and existing products - for timely (and verified) delivery to specified accounts.
  • Assists with other duties, as assigned

Education and/or Experience
Required:
  • Minimum two years' experience in a Sales Analyst trade role or related capacity
  • Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint

Preferred:
  • Experience with Luminate and Retail Link preferred

Competencies and Proficiency Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, marketing or equivalent
  • Ability to interpret account specific data -- and translate into relevant category review presentations, as well as other sales related information/material
  • Familiarity with syndicated data
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively
  • Self-starter with strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Curious
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas
  • Knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods Industry
