Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $26.25hr - $31.25hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Must be able to define and report strategies for commodities ranging from mechanical and electrical components.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Motivated, self-directed, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Appraise and improve sourcing and procurement activities by analyzing spend and supplier base.
  • Drive negotiations and purchasing needs.
  • Drive sourcing and procurement activities on assigned commodities to deliver a competitive advantage within the North XX market.
  • Apply advanced sourcing best practices towards operational excellence.
  • Initiate RFQs, negotiate pricing and contractual terms, and implement framework agreements with key suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Counsel using contract templates.
  • Issue purchase orders for finished components and actively support the full order to revenue process.
  • Manage external supplier spend for the region on selected commodities including valve internals, fasteners, blades, and composites.
