Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status, identifying specific needs and concerns.
• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic plans focused on addressing complex mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
• Engage clients in regular therapy sessions, providing them with effective coping strategies and tools necessary for their recovery journey.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster peer support and collaboration among clients.
• Collaborate with external healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive client care when necessary.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on feedback and clinical observations, ensuring that goals are effectively met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client developments and treatment effectiveness.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality to protect the dignity and privacy of all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with individuals facing issues such as mental health disorders, substance dependency, trauma, and behavioral problems. This role emphasizes building rapport and trust with clients, ensuring they feel understood and heard throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competence in therapy practices.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions aligned with client-centered care approaches.
• Effective crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications necessary for successful documentation and communication.
• Commitment to professional integrity, ethical standards, and best practices in mental health care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
