• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, covering aspects of their emotional, behavioral, and social well-being.
• Collaborate with clients to establish clear treatment goals and develop personalized therapeutic interventions that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, or other evidence-based modalities appropriate for their unique situation.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, utilizing both individual and group formats, to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide clients with coping strategies and practical tools designed to equip them in managing their mental health challenges effectively.
• Maintain a comprehensive documentation system using electronic health record (EHR) software to track client progress and ensure compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.
• Refer clients to additional healthcare providers—such as psychiatrists or support groups—when necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to their care.

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, substance use issues, and eating disorders. Our inclusive practice is committed to addressing the unique cultural contexts of each client, ensuring that therapy is relevant, respectful, and effective.

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience providing mental health services, particularly in community or clinical settings.
• A solid understanding of a variety of mental health disorders and treatment methods, along with a commitment to employing culturally competent practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to connect and build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and effective during challenging situations.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, with a solid understanding of various computer applications relevant to therapy practices.

• Experience working in remote therapy is a significant advantage, as it allows for flexibility in addressing client needs while managing time effectively.
• Proficiency in group therapy modalities and experience facilitating workshops or support groups is highly desirable.
• A background in integrating holistic and alternative therapies into traditional mental health practices would also be beneficial.
