• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to determine the specific mental health needs of clients, facilitating the development of individualized therapy strategies.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care, actively participating in case discussions and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation following legal and ethical standards while utilizing EMR software for efficient record-keeping.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay current with advancements in mental health research and practices.

Our client base includes diverse individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients come from underserved communities with limited access to mental health resources, which makes our work even more essential. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is essential.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment, demonstrating a clear understanding of therapeutic practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse client populations.
• A demonstrated capacity to work effectively within a healthcare team, enhancing collaborative client care.
• Competence in various therapeutic techniques and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other clinical technologies.

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred, providing a broader perspective on client needs.
• A well-rounded understanding of relevant legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
