Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs, psychosocial history, and specific treatment goals, leading to comprehensive treatment plans.
• Facilitate coordination among a multidisciplinary health team, collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure cohesive care.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and quality assurance policies, guaranteeing the highest level of care and ethical practice.
• Continuously evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, leveraging strong analytical skills to respond to evolving patient needs.
• Provide counseling and support to encourage patients to implement positive changes in their lives, utilizing motivational interviewing and coaching methodologies.
• Ensure that all patient records are organized, detailed, and up to date within our electronic health record (EHR) system, facilitating effective communication and care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Vitalize Behavioral Health, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various mental health disorders. Your role involves understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client and adapting therapeutic approaches accordingly. This ensures that you can effectively support their mental health journey and contribute positively to their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid California LPCC license and a Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field are essential for this position.
• Active licensure in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Strong verbal communication skills are critical for effectively counseling and advising patients.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to assess patient needs accurately and develop insightful treatment plans.
• Coaching abilities to inspire and motivate clients towards meaningful and positive behavioral changes.
• Organizational skills for maintaining comprehensive and accessible patient records in our EHR.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, including individual and group therapy sessions, is preferred.
• Experience working with telehealth platforms and conducting remote counseling sessions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and psychosocial assessment techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
