The project manager will own the project management and implementation process for GEHC Invasive products. This position includes, but is not limited to, sales order review, project planning and documentation, resource coordination, and issues resolution.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Working primarily from a GE location or home based office, the Remote Project Manageris responsible for driving customer satisfaction and process productivity throughout the project installation.

  • Act as the primary liaison between GE and customer project teams with onsite support from Service & Sales.

  • Identify GE and customer responsibilities and deliverables as defined in the sales contract creation, maintenance, and routing of formal project implementation timeline with collaboration between the customer, GE, and contract resources.

  • Create visible and predictable project data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting

  • Responsible for the tracking and communication of implementation progress including project kick-off, regular status updates, and project closure.

  • Lead the implementation team during clinical "GoLive" of the equipment.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years project management experience, or an Associates Degree and minimum of 5 years Project Management experience, or minimum of 7 years Project Management experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years experience working in the healthcare field.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience driving projects within a cross-functional capacity.

  • Ability to perform high volume multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities to meet scheduled project completion dates and customer expectations.

  • Ability to work and communicate with diverse work partners internal and external to GE and our customers.

  • Ability to work effectively from a remote home office.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, with overnight stays when needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree.

  • Construction, healthcare IT or equipment installations experience.

  • Demonstrated customer service experience working remotely with external customers in a clinical environment.

  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge/experience in the healthcare industry and with GEHC products.

  • Proficient in project Management Software such as MS Project.

  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
