How you will contribute

The Sr. Project Manager of Enterprise Project Management will play a key role in establishing and advancing a centralized enterprise project management capability focused on shaping how the organization plans, prioritizes, and delivers its most critical cross-functional initiatives.

This is a builder's role - you will establish the foundation: designing the project intake process, defining delivery cadences, and developing the frameworks and talent needed to drive enterprise-wide execution with consistency and accountability. This leader will ensure that product initiatives are delivered on time, on scope, and aligned with business priorities, enabling predictable delivery, improved transparency, and scalable execution across a growing organization

    PMO Build-Out & Leadership

    • Support the design, launch, and scaling of an Enterprise PMO function, contributing to the development and onboarding of Project Managers over time
    • Define and implement project management frameworks, methodologies and governance models
    • Establish a high-performing, collaborative team culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
    • Partner closely with PMO leadership and the Chief Transformation & People Officer's team, supporting visibility into portfolio health and delivery progress

    Project Intake & Prioritization

    • Develop and implement a standardized project intake process that captures, evaluates, and prioritizes enterprise initiatives against strategic objectives
    • Partner with senior leaders across functions to ensure the right work is resourced and sequenced appropriately
    • Create governance frameworks and decision-making criteria to manage demand and capacity across the portfolio

    Program & Portfolio Management

    • Own end-to-end program management for high-priority, cross-functional corporate initiatives spanning multiple products
    • Drive initiative planning, milestone tracking, risk identification, and executive-level reporting
    • Establish and maintain a portfolio management cadence including status reporting, steering committee meetings, and leadership reviews

    Process & Tooling

    • Define and implement project management methodologies, tools, and templates that balance rigor with agility
    • Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide real-time visibility into portfolio status for senior leadership
    • Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes based on lessons learned and evolving business needs

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build trusted relationships with executive and functional stakeholders across the organization
    • Facilitate alignment conversations, surface dependencies, and resolve roadblocks that span organizational boundaries
    • Drive alignment across functions with differing priorities and operating styles
    • Champion a culture of project discipline and delivery excellence across the enterprise

    Qualifications

        Experience

        • 5+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management
        • Experience mentoring or guiding junior project managers; prior people management is a plus but not required
        • Proven track record building or significantly scaling a PMO or enterprise delivery function
        • Experience managing complex, cross-functional corporate initiatives with significant organizational impact
        • Prior exposure to transformation, change management, or people-related programs is a strong plus

        Skills & Competencies

        • Exceptional ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels - equally comfortable in a leadership meeting and in the details of a project plan
        • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills; able to translate complex program status into clear, concise narratives
        • Skilled facilitator and consensus-builder across diverse stakeholder groups
        • Data-driven mindset with experience building portfolio reporting and governance structures

        Education & Certifications

        • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
        • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred

        Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 based on relevant experience, skills, and industry knowledge. Asure Software offers a variety of employee benefits.
