To join our team as a Program Specialist! We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Program Field Specialist supporting our low-income energy efficiency program! Field Specialists ensure smooth, high-quality delivery of energy efficiency services to income-qualified customers, both in the field and in coordination with internal teams, while adhering to program guidelines and safety standards. This role is client- and customer-facing, working directly with low-income households, community partners, and trade allies to deliver energy savings and improve home comfort and safety.

  • Oversee contractor network who deliver in-home energy assessments and audits for low-income customers, identifying eligible energy efficiency and weatherization measures.
  • Oversee installation of energy-saving measures (e.g., weatherstripping, water-saving devices, duct and air sealing) in customer homes.
  • Educate customers on energy efficiency, safety, and available program benefits in a respectful, culturally responsive manner.
  • Manage field data collection and documentation, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with program and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with community action agencies, trade allies, and internal teams to schedule visits and track project timelines.
  • Ensure all field work meets quality, health, and safety standards, including proper use of testing equipment.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have...

  • 1-3 years of relevant field, construction, HVAC, or energy efficiency experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (BPI, HERS, etc.) a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to customer homes

Targeted Compensation:

$55,000 - $60,000

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

$48,800.00 - $66,300.00
