Leading groups of 8 to 10 people, you'll plan different activities to encourage independence and skill development while adapting the activities to meet the members' individual needs.You'll keep the group's energy high and support members in meeting their personal goals. This role also coordinates fun outings and transports the individuals in our 15-person bus. Every day will bring new bonding moments and opportunities to make a meaningful difference!DAY PROGRAM SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS21+ years of ageBachelor's degree in a related human services fieldExperience working with the targeted population (individuals living with brain injury)Experience planning and facilitating programming in a member-driven group environmentEligibility for NC classification as a Qualified Professional through the Department of Health and Human ServicesGood standing on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry with no substantiated findings of abuse or neglectValid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a personal, insured vehicle5+ years of driving experience with the ability to drive a 15-passenger bus with a wheelchair liftOur ideal Day Program Specialist has some relevant licensure (CTRS, LRT, or CBIS), or would be willing to obtain a CBIS certification.WHO WE AREHinds' Feet Farm is built on a simple belief: life after a brain injury should be supported with dignity, purpose, and genuine connection.
