• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the psychosocial needs of clients entering the detox program, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and counselors, to address the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual counseling to help clients process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote recovery.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that therapeutic goals are consistently aligned with client needs.
• Offer family support services to guide loved ones through the recovery process, providing essential resources and facilitating communication between families and clients.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to mental health services and substance use treatment, maintaining the highest ethical standards in practice.
• Maintain detailed client records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies, while ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

The focus of this role will be on individuals experiencing substance use disorders, particularly those in the detoxification stage. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds with varied stories and experiences, requiring you to provide culturally competent and empathetic support. Your interventions will directly impact their ability to navigate the complexities of addiction recovery, addressing both emotional and psychological challenges.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience, specifically in mental health or substance use settings.
• Strong knowledge of social work practices concerning crisis management, behavioral assessments, and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.

• Experience working in detox or substance abuse facilities is highly desirable.
• Expertise in trauma-informed care approaches and familiarity with various therapeutic techniques.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred, enhancing communication with a diverse client base.
